2015 Tutu Fellow Wiebe Boer has been appointed as the Chief Growth Officer at JIPA Network in the Caribbean. JIPA Network is a healthcare company that collaborates with medical experts to provide healthcare, critical medical services and elective procedures  - surgeries that are not emergencies and which can be scheduled - to patients in the United States, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. As the Chief Growth Officer, Wiebe is responsible for developing growth strategies, identifying new business opportunities and market expansion.

Recently, Wiebe has also been appointed as an Advisory Board Member at Renewvia Energy. Renewvia is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and designs solar power solutions, integrated financing and consulting services. The Aké Collective and Frutta Juice and Services Limited in Nigeria are additional companies where he is also a Board Member. Previously, he served as President at Calvin University - a private evangelical university in Michigan. Before working at the university, he was the CEO of All On, an off-grid energy impact investment fund in Nigeria, which was seeded by Shell.

Wiebe was the inaugural CEO of the Tony Emelu Foundation, following his tenures, respectively, at World Vision, McKinskey & Company and the Rockefeller Foundation. Born to Dutch missionary parents and raised in Jos, Nigeria, he later obtained two Masters degrees and a PhD in African History from Yale University. Responding to his appointment at JIPA Network, he said he looked forward to working with a team that he describes as extraordinary "...to build the largest healthcare company in the Caribbean."
