Professional History: Sheraan Amod is a serial technology entrepreneur. He founded several high-impact technology companies, including Personera, Springlab and RecoMed, of which he is the CEO. RecoMed is South Africa's largest and fastest growing online healthcare marketplace and booking platform, with over one million users and adoption from industry leaders such as Discovery Health, Mediclinic, and Dis-Chem.

He sits on several boards of high-impact technology ventures and is the Chair at The Virtual Agent, South Africa's largest real estate data and CRM platform; as well as En-Novate, a corporate education firm that was co-founded with Investec while he was Chair. He also plays an active role in advising both for- and non-profit organisations that he believes can make a positive social impact.

He is a Programme Member of 10x-E, an entrepreneur course designed as a "mini MBA" selected for high potential CEOs to improve their business knowledge and skills and sharpen their business leadership ability.
