Professional History: Monde is an Executive Director at Value Capital Partners (VCP), a leading activist investment firm in South Africa. He is also a non-executive director of several private and public companies, including Lesaka, which is a financial technology business listed on the Nasdaq; and ADvTECH, which is a private education business listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

Prior to joining VCP in 2017, Monde was a Senior Associate on the investment team of FFL Partners, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, and a management consultant at Bain & Company, where he focused on financial services and telecommunications clients across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Monde also serves on the advisory board of the Centre for Development and Enterprise, a leading policy research and advocacy organization focused on economic growth, employment and democracy in South Africa.
