Professional History: Anisse Terai is the Chief Executive Officer, Middle East and Africa for Energy Pool, a multinational energy technology solutions company. He is an Affiliated Professor and the Scientific Advisor of the MBA Energy & Strategy at ESAA Business School in Algiers. He is also an expert of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), energy transition, and multilateral affairs, including ASEAN, BRICS, G20 and the WTO. Prior to that, he was Managing Director and Head of Investment Management at Tell Group, an investment firm focusing on emerging markets. Previously, Anisse held several managerial positions at the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group where he worked for a decade. Anisse is the founding Managing Director and Chief Executive of ISEF, a sovereign energy fund affiliated with IsDB Group. He worked also at Sonatrach, SLB (Schlumberger) and S&P Global (ex-IHS). He was a faculty member of HEC Paris, University of Paris-Dauphine and Sciences Po, where he was Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs. He also worked on technology enablement at the Microsystems Technology Laboratories of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Anisse has been listed for a decade among the Top 100 Africa Future Economic Leaders (less than 40 years old) by the Institut Choiseul.
