Professional History: Nonhlanhla Mayisela is a dynamic and multi-faceted individual with wide-ranging technical and market knowledge of the industry. After 15 years’ experience in the property industry, Nonhlanhla specializes in property development & investments and has vast knowledge and expertise in sourcing the end-user through various networks, negotiating and concluding agreements, structuring development transactions, and managing the land conversion development process.

Before her appointment, she was with the Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) where she was responsible for driving the property development and marketing strategy for the four international and five regional airports owned and managed by the ACSA. Nonhlanhla holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from UNISA and a post-graduate diploma in Management from Wits Business School. She is the chairperson of the Women’s Property Network, sits on the board of the Property Sector Charter Council, and a member of the South African Property Owners Association. She was also the deputy Chairlady of Investec Bank’s Employment Equity Forum.

One of Nonhlanhla’s most significant achievements to date is becoming a 2014 Fellow of the Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu Leadership Fellowship Programme (ALTP) following a rigorous selection process. The ATLP is a multi-layered leadership learning experience that focuses on “African leadership in a global context”.
