Professional History: Mohammed Abdul-Razaq is a Senior Vice President and Head of Capital Mobilization and Partnerships at the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC). He has over 18 years of experience in financial advisory, infrastructure financing, and development investing across sub-Saharan Africa, having executed transactions worth over $30 billion during his career.
Before joining AFC in 2016, he worked at Morgan Stanley UK and Renaissance Capital UK. At AFC, he is one of the youngest Business Unit Heads, overseeing equity capital mobilization, global partnerships, and origination activities while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across Africa and globally.
He serves on multiple boards, including Women At Risk International Foundation (WARIF) as the only male member, and several other organizations focused on development and education. In 2023, he was ranked 5th among Africa's Top 100 Economic Leaders under 40 by the Choiseul Institute.
He founded the Dudden Hill Foundation, which has trained over 3,000 young Africans in entrepreneurship and corporate skills since 2021.
