She is a development management practitioner by profession, an indigenous food programmer, thought leader, and activist committed to ensuring Ugandan communities have autonomy over their well-being, and food systems. She is an expert in community development, gender programming, movement building and for self-sustaining development. She is an author of a children's book, Matooke and Gonja, that celebrates Uganda's diverse culinary heritage while highlighting the deep connection between food, culture, and community. Sarah believes that access to nutritious food and a healthy environment are fundamental to individual and collective well-being.
