Professional History: Vanessa Ndebele is a seasoned mining engineer with more than 15 years of experience in mine development, design, planning, and execution. She is currently the Manager of Business Improvement at South32 Hotazel Manganese Mining Consortium, having previously served as the Manager of Planning at the same mine. Vanessa led a team responsible for short-term planning, mine designs, geology, survey, laboratory, and geotechnical services. Her career spans major mining companies such as BHP Billiton, Anglo American Kumba Iron Ore, and South32, working across commodities such as coal, manganese, and iron ore.

Her extensive technical and managerial expertise, coupled with her commitment to personal and professional growth, has established her as a visionary leader and mentor in the mining industry.
