We are excited to announce a new Tutu Fellows’ column in African Business magazine, with the inaugural piece appearing in the July 2017 issue.   In the column, the Tutu Fellows, as thought-leaders and influencers across the continent, will give their perspectives on the evolving realities of the continent. Lanre Akinola, Editor of African Business magazine, said "The column is a dedicated space for the thoughts and ideas of a new generation of leaders that need to be heard. The Tutu Fellows are already reshaping the face of leadership on the continent, and we are delighted and honoured to be able to make this platform available."

Dr Jackie Chimhanzi, CEO of AfLI, said “It is young people who have the innovative solutions to some of the most pressing developmental challenges that the African continent faces.  Unfortunately and paradoxically, on a continent that is disproportionately young, the voices and ideas of young people are woefully missing in the deliberations to create the Africa that we all want and deserve.  I am grateful to African Business magazine for the column which will provide a platform for this network of influential younger leaders across the continent to get their voices and perspectives heard in order to help shape the African narrative.”

The inaugural piece has been written by Lerato Mataboge, 2010 Tutu Fellow and CEO of Trade Invest Africa, seen in the pictures below.
