2008 Tutu Fellow Nitesh Dullabh has been appointed to serve as a director on the governing board of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP). The ISSP is the world's leading professional association of sustainability practitioners.

Nitesh is a global environmental, social and governance (ESG) and sustainabilty development goal (SDG) expert, and has over 20 years experience in facilitating Fortune 200 companies with their global expansion projects in developed and emerging markets.

He was appointed in January 2021

His experience and global connections are in a variety of sectors: financial, automotive, engineering and design, information and communications technology, consumer goods, and mining. Companies that have engaged his global expansion expertise include BMW, Virgin, IBM, SAB Miller, and Anglo-American.

Nitesh has led and managed complex projects from idea and conception through to market penetration and deal flow. He has deep understanding of managing process, complexities and risk. For more than 25 years, Nitesh has guided organizations in building resilient sustainability programs and projects with sound ESG principles. He previously served in South African president Nelson Mandela’s government as a Director in the Department of Trade & Industry and as a Commercial Attaché to the South African Embassy in China.
