Email Confirmation Requirement

Mailbox and distributor email spam rules have become far stricter since the African Leadership Institute first created it's subscribe list.  Subscribers who joined the list but did not confirm their email address are now being flagged. To meet these new rules to meet compliance, AFLI is cleaning its mailing list.  This may mean that your email address may be removed and should you wish to keep receiving mail from AFLI, that you will need to resubscribe below and confirm your email address. 2020 Tutu Fellow Josea Rono PhD has been appointed to Grand Challenges Canada's governance structures.  He will be joining the Investment Committee. The mission of Grand Challenges Canada is tackling some of the world’s most pressing global challenges.  The organisation invests in ideas that not only apply science and technology, but also integrate social and business approaches, to generate transformative impact.

Josea is Co-Founder and Managing Director at E&K Consulting, a pan-African advisory and investment firm. During his career, he has advised on transactions worth over US$ 20 billion in the global healthcare, innovation, and climate and energy sectors.

He has led advisory and investment engagements on behalf of over 130 organizations in over 30 countries in Africa, Europe and the Americas.

Grand Challenges Canada said that Josea's thought leadership has seen him work on some of the world’s most intractable challenges across the public, private, development and philanthropic sectors.
