Professional History: Dr. William Okyere-Frempong wears several hats. William is the Regional Director/CEO -The HuD Group, an international leadership and mentoring organization. As a lead coach, he frequently offers training to emerging leaders and established professionals in schools, social groups, churches, and companies. He was formerly the country director for Ghana. He is also the founding Medical Superintendent of the Nungua LEKMA Polyclinic, a public healthcare facility in Accra, Ghana. He combines his clinical expertise with managerial responsibilities, leading a team of clinical, preventive, and support services staff to provide quality and accessible healthcare.

William is also an independent consultant for the CDC Foundation's Field Epidemiologist Training Program in Thailand, Ethiopia, China and India. He holds an MBChB in Medicine & Surgery from the University of Ghana School of Medicine & Dentistry, an Executive Certificate in Business Administration from the Accra Business School, a Certificate in Healthcare Administration and Management from GIMPA; and a Masters in Organizational Leadership & Governance from the University of Ghana Business School.

William serves on the District Health Management Board and Public Health Emergency Preparedness Board for Krowor Municipal. He was the host of Positive Pulse on 3FM, an award-winning weekly health & wellness radio program, and also served as a Radio Doctor for Rainbow Health Check on Rainbow Radio. He was a House Officer at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and Senior House Officer at LEKMA Hospital. He has had stints with the Alpha Medical Centre; Superior Medical Centre; Aneeja Medical Centre; Family Health Hospital and Trust Hospital as a primary care doctor. He is currently the Advisory Board Chair of the US-Ghana Alumni Association and member of the Institute of Directors Ghana and the Lausanne Movement YLGen.

He was named among the top ten most influential emerging leaders by the Kharis magazine in 2012; a 2014 recipient of Nobles International Award; ranked as 19th most influential young Ghanaian under 40 years by Avance Media in 2016; judged the Spirited Advocate Clinician at HELEH Africa Awards in 2018; and profiled among top 100 speakers in Ghana by The Speakers Bureau Africa in 2019.
