Professional History: Andiswa is the Regional Head of First National Business Bank in Gauteng. She has been active in banking and the financial sector for more than a decade. Prior to her current role, she was the Corporate Advisory Executive at FNB South Africa.
Previously, at Barclays Africa Group, she joined the syndicate business division at Barclays Africa as Principal, before taking on the role of Construction Sector Head. She has occupied various roles from strategy and planning, to loan structuring and execution, and loan syndications and distribution across Africa.
Before her time at Barclays, Andiswa joined Standard Bank, where she became the Head of Institutional Structured Sales for Global Markets. Prior to that, she headed up the Africa loan syndications business.
Andiswa is passionate about youth development. She has co-chaired the women’s forum Banking on Women at Barclays Africa, of which one of the initiatives - Masedi - won the award for Investing in Young Women at the South African Gender Mainstreaming Awards in 2016. She also started a coding boot camp for young women at ABSA to get more women equipped for projects within banking's digital and data teams.
