Email Confirmation Requirement

Mailbox and distributor email spam rules have become far stricter since the African Leadership Institute first created it's subscribe list.  Subscribers who joined the list but did not confirm their email address are now being flagged. Professional History: Cumesh Moodliar is the CEO of Investec Bank. Prior to that, he was head of Investec's private banking unit.

His trajectory within Investec includes positions such as regional head of the private bank in the Eastern Cape, national banking head, and head of the private bank in South Africa. His recent leadership over the bank's private client franchise showcased his capacity to drive innovation and elevate customer experiences.

Cumesh joined Investec in 2012, and was based in the Port Elizabeth office. Prior to that he managed an established Eastern Cape based law firm, Goldberg & De Villiers for a number of years, where he headed up the commercial law department. He had joined the firm as a Candidate Attorney, and remained there for a period of 18 years before joining Investec.

In 2015 Cumesh attended the Programme for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School, which helped deepen leadership skills, business analysis, strategy formulation and problem solving.
