Professional History: Ogejuma Emmanuel currently leads the Patient Access project at GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceutical Nig. Ltd, which aims at providing affordable and quality medicines to the 70% plus of the population who live in semi-urban and rural areas. Their approach is by deepening penetration down the pyramid where you have more of the population, but with low purchasing power.

This is in line with GSK's Africa 2020 vision for the continent, which aims at reaching 80% of the population in Sub-Saharan Africa by 2020 with affordable and quality medicine as a way of improving access to healthcare. This is also in line with four out of the eight Millenium Development Goals of the UN.

There is a striking resemblance between the Patient Access project and the community project by Ogejuma, which centered on improving access to quality healthcare among the destitute in society by donating quality medical supplies and medicines to selected orphanages and destitute homes.
