Professional History: Prior to him joining the Palabora mining company in 2004, he served in BHP Billiton (Chrome division) Samancor, where he worked at Eastern and Western Chrome mines as an engineer in training for exposure in narrow tabular reef mine environment over four (4) years. He worked as a miner responsible for day to day running of the crew. He was promoted to a supervisory role, carrying an appointment of 2.15.1 on mine health and safety act. Presently he is working as Secondary Breaking Superintendent carrying the 2.14.1 government appointment, responsible for assisting the mine manager in the control, management and direction of the surface and underground workings of the mine. He relieves as 2.5.2.1 appointee in the absent of the mine manager.
