Professional History: Thabang is the Managing Director of FCB Joburg, the flagship agency within the FCB Africa group. He is a social activist, social entrepreneur, philanthropist, and motivational speaker. He left a successful career in banking to co-found Kaelo, a healthcare company focusing on HIV and Aids, which has become a leading wellness provider and primary healthcare company. Thabang also founded Aluwani (formerly The Lonely Road Foundation) in 2007 to enable rural communities to care for orphans and vulnerable children.

Thabang has a Bachelor of Commerce from UCT and a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard. He is a Mason Fellow of Public Policy and Management and an Archbishop Desmond Tutu Leadership Fellow.
