Professional History: Robin is the founder and CEO of the Aperture Group, based in South Africa, is a human capital and people business - headhunting and recruitment - that has sourced senior executives such as CEOs, directors, and professionals for some of the largest groups in the world and Africa across many African countries. At one stage, it was one of the most-followed businesses in its sector across Africa by senior executives and professionals on social media.

The other company he founded is ExpandAfrica, which is based in Mauritius. It is an Africa-focused company facilitating company expansions across the African continent from anywhere in the globe with growth strategy, talent management - both professional and executive - and innovation. It assists with high-level projects across many sectors through a detailed and defined process including country research and risk profiling; strategy and strategy alignment; partnership and deal negotiation; structuring and finance in the selected countries; aiding in setting up operations through established processes and relationships; and talent management.

He has held a number of non-executive and advisory roles. Robin has sat on a number of boards in the fields of healthcare, finance, education, aviation, human capital, and a few non-profits. One was one of the only African businesses that are an HBS case study for the Harvard MBA and other executive programs. Others include the Tutudesk Advisory Board; Lifesense Group board; Children with Cerebral Palsy; and others. Robin has advised some of the most powerful and influential business leaders across the globe and is a guest lecturer at one of Africa’s top-rated universities on Africa; and, talent and disruption.

He has been interviewed on radio and television for his insights into Africa and on leadership. Robin is an Inducted member of ALN and Africa 2.0 – both of which are by-invitation-only networks for the top leaders across Africa. He has also been selected as one of the top young emerging leaders across Africa.
