Professional History


He is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Economic Transformation Agenda of Cape Verde. He plays a prominent role as a counterpart to the international development partners of Cape Verde. He is the lead negotiator for Cape Verde with multilateral and bilateral institutions on issues of finance and he coordinates the national effort within the Budget Support Group. Sandro was previously the General Director for the Strategy and Research Bureau of the Ministry of Finance. Sandro is a non-executive member of the board of the Cape Verdean Stock Exchange and a member of the Macroeconomic Monitoring Unit that monitors the peg of Cape Verdean Escudos to the Euro.

Qualifications


Finance and Investment graduate from Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, City University of New York.
