Professional History


He started off his career at Hwange Colliery Mine the largest colliery in Zimbabwe as a Graduate Trainee, were he rose through the ranks to become a Section Engineer. Hard work, integrity and strong desire for success have been the driving force in achieving his career goals. He has gained experience in both diamond and coal processing bulk material handling equipment maintenance. Innovation and re-engineering have been key aspects in high equipment availability considering the harsh economic environment in Zimbabwe. Kumbirayi successfully completed the construction of the crushing and screening plant. Currently working on the DMS throughput upgrade project and air strip extension.

Qualifications


Bsc [honours] in Mechanical Engineering Master Degree in Business Administration at the University of Zimbabwe
