Professional History: Tomi is a Managing Partner at Summit Africa, he has a proven track record of Private and Listed Investments, and Real Estate as a trusted adviser to many large listed and unlisted companies in South Africa and Africa,. He has concluded over R75 billion of corporate and investment transactions including all aspects of Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity Advisory, Company Restructurings, Listings, BEE Transactions, and Capital Raising across numerous sectors.

Tomi has over 11 years of experience in the financial services sector with the last 8 years at Investec playing an integral and leading role in originating, structuring, negotiating, and executing all types of large Corporate Finance transactions in Sub Saharan Africa including mergers, acquisitions, and disposals; general corporate finance, listings, delistings, company restructurings, valuations, debt restructurings, debt arranging, cross border transactions, localization transactions amongst others.

Within this period Tomi has successfully advised on large transactions in various African countries from South Africa to Nigeria. A thought leader and strategist at heart Tomi have the ability to infuse strong commercial objectives with an impact-driven focus that is relevant and suitable for emerging markets. Tomi was recognized in 2013 by the Association of Black Securities and Investment Professionals as a Game Changer in the Financial Sector and is a regular contributor to various industry publications.

Tomi is a fellow of Archbishop Desmond Tutu Leadership Institute and he was recognized as an ABSIP Game Changer in the Financial Sector (2013)
