Occupational Position: Ally currently serves in the following roles: Managing Director - Leap Holdings (Pty) Ltd and its subsidiaries as well Expert Public Finance Management and Financial Reporting: Ministry of Finance (Government of Namibia) Board Member of various boards of both listed and unlisted Namibian companies including the Reserve Bank of Namibia

Projects


Ally launched the Dream Namibia Launchpad which invites every quarter business plans from aspiring entrepreneurs. The Launchpad has a panel made up of Partners at Private Equity firms, VC firms, bankers and angel investors. The panel review and provide detailed feedback to the aspiring entrepreneur so that they are one step closer to making their dreams a reality. The Launchpad jam sessions are held once a quarter.

Professional History


Ally is a Chartered Accountant registered with both SAICA in South Africa and ICAN in Namibia. She was admitted to the KPMG Partnership in Namibia as an Assurance Partner on 1 September 2006. She retired from KPMG during 2013, February to form a company called Leap Holdings (formerly Leap Investments). Leap Holdings (formerly Leap Investments) holds interests in farming, manufacturing and retailing subsidiaries. Ally served as a Council Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Namibia (ICAN) and as a Board member of the National Qualifications Authority appointed by the Minister of Education. She currently serves as non-executive director for the Bank of Namibia (The Reserve Bank of Namibia), Old Mutual Life Assurance (Namibia), Rio Tinto's Rossing Uranium Limited Mine in Namibia, Oryx Properties Limited (a NSX primary listed company); as Vice Chairperson for Namibia's Petroleum Company - Namcor and is Chairman of Namcor Trading. Ally is the Founding Curator for the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Windhoek Hub as well as an Archbishop Desmond Tutu Fellow. Ally chairs the Audit and Risk Committees of the following boards that she serve on; Bank of Namibia (Namibia
