Four Fellows selected for Choiseul Africa 2018 list

Tutu Fellows Lynette Ntuli, Natalie Jabangwe, Ada Osakwe and Bright Simons have been selected for the Choiseul Africa 100 list of laureates for 2018.

Through an annual study that was independently carried out over several months by the Institut Choiseul, Choiseul 100 Africa – the Economic Leaders for Tomorrow, honors those exceptional entrepreneurs who contribute to the renewing of the African economic governance. It identifies and ranks young African leaders of 40 years old and below. 

The identification and ranking process took weighted criteria into account that included reputation, background and skills, influence networks, potential, and leadership.

2012 Fellow wins 2018 Young CEO of the Year

2012 Tutu Fellow Dr Amy Jadesimi has been named Africa's Young CEO of the Year.  Amy is the Managing Director and CEO of LADOL, short for a half billion USD port development infrastructure project at Lagos, Nigeria.  The acronym stands for Lagos Deep Offshore Logistics Base and is an industrial free zone with a logistics base in the shipyard.  Amy's plans go beyond just infrastructure development, however.  She is working towards transforming the area into more than just an industrial area, rather, she wants it to be an economic zone that sustainably creates jobs and business opportunities in the area.

Tutu Fellow Eunice Ajambo receives global leadership award

Tutu Fellow Eunice Ajambo has received the 2015 Global Female Leadership Impact Award by the Center for Economic and Leadership Development. She was also inducted into the Global Women Leaders Hall of Fame. The award and the induction was conferred by the Center for Economic and Leadership Development (CELD) in partnership with the CEO Clubs Network Worldwide, and the National Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women (NOBEL Women), USA. The event took place at the the South America-Africa-Middle East-Asia Women's Summit in Dubai in November.
