Robtel Neajai Pailey appointed Assistant Professor at the London School of Economics

2010 Tutu Fellow Robtel Neajai Pailey PhD has been appointed as an Assistant Professor in International Social and Public Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she contributes to a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Robtel is an academic, published author, essayist, scholar-activist and children's book author.  

Robtel is the author of a monograph titled Development, (Dual) Citizenship and Its Discontents in Africa: The Political Economy of Belonging to Liberia that will be published by Cambridge University Press in 2021. Her work has also been published in academic journals such as Development and Change and Review of African Political Economy.

Aside from her scholarly writings, she is also the author of the award-winning, anti-corruption children’s books, Gbagba and Jaadeh! and Jaadeh!
