Fellow appointed to Securities & Exchange Board


2014 Tutu Fellow Risper Alaro-Mukoto has been elected to the board of directors of the Nairobi Securities Exchange Limited. The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) is a leading African Exchange, based in Kenya – one of the fastest-growing economies in Sub-Saharan Africa. Founded in 1954, NSE has a six-decade heritage in listing equity and debt securities. It offers a world class trading facility for local and international investors looking to gain exposure to Kenya and Africa’s economic growth.

Risper is currently the CEO of Centum Business Solutions Ltd (CBSL), a subsidiary of Centum Investment Ltd, which is a leading investment company in the East African region. CBSL provides financial, human capital, technology, legal, tax & risk management solutions to the Centum Group. Prior to this role, Risper served Centum as Head of Finance & Operations for 6 years. During this period, she led various financial and talent management initiatives that were instrumental to Centum.
