Job Title: HR Advisor at Rio Tinto Management Services South Africa

Professional History


Claudia is the HR Advisor, currently supporting Rio Tinto Management Services as well as Rio Tinto Mining and exploration.  Claudia’s profile currently covers South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, and Zambia.  Her work includes but is not limited to; day to day HR activities, Visa/ Permit management, IA Coordination, Employee Relations, Performance management, onboarding, policy review, and management as well as HR legislative guidance.  Claudia started her corporate career at Rio Tinto in 2011, working on the large Rio Tinto Coal Mozambique project. Prior to Rio Tinto, she worked in the FMCG and retail sector.   

Claudia is passionate about Human Development and pushing people to their full potential.  In her free time, she practices the martial arts of Kung Fu, allowing her to push herself both physically and mentally to new limits. One of Claudia’s favorite quotes on how life should be best lived by Bruce Lee “Absorb what is useful; discard what is not; add what is uniquely your own”
