Professional History


Edzai Conilias Zvobwo is passionate about empowering Africans through mathematics, problem-solving techniques, and technology. As such, he founded MathsGee, an online supplementary learning platform that supports remote learners. He also co-founded The Education Support Forum (TEDSF), a non-profit entity for helping corporations achieve impact for their targeted beneficiaries. Through these organizations and strategic partnerships, he has helped create an ecosystem for disseminating information, training, and supporting STEM education to all African people.

He is an education evangelist who teaches mathematical thinking as a life skill, Edzai’s quest has seen him being named the SABC Ambassador for STEM; an Archbishop Tutu Leadership Fellow, the Agenda 2063 Champion for Skills Development; a Bill & Melinda Gates Goalkeeper. Edzai and MathsGee have amassed several accolades that include 2014 SADC Protocol on Gender and Development award for his contribution to women’s empowerment in education; Top 40 African EdTech Innovations; mLab GAP ICT Innovations finalist; SAIS-Finland Innovation Award.

Edzai has graced many local and international stages such as the Mobile 360 North America; SA EduTech Summit, United Nations Youth Skills Day in New York among others. He was invited to be a contributor to the World Bank Group Youth Summit in 2016.

Edzai is a firm believer that Africa can be liberated if her people are technologically savvy and are able to apply structured problem-solving thinking methodologies to find solutions to social, political, and economic problems that have long affected his home continent. He is currently completing a Master of Applied Leadership and Management at Arizona State University
