Job Title: Group CFO at Centum Investment Company Limited

Professional History


Samuel is the Group CFO at Centum Investment Company Limited. He oversees the Group’s Finance, Tax, and ICT functions in addition to working with the Group CEO Office on strategic planning, implementation, and business performance management. Previously, he worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Kenya and in Rwanda for over 10 years. At PwC, he rose through the ranks to an Associate Director and was responsible for Operations, Business Development, and Leading Financial Advisory and Assurance engagements. He played a lead role in setting up and establishing the PwC practice in Rwanda in 2010.

He is passionate about community empowerment and is currently involved in education sponsorship initiatives and a pilot agro-entrepreneurship program that aims at supporting sustainable organic farming practices for small-scale farmers in rural Kenya and linking them to markets.

Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University
Chemical and Process Engineering Degree from Moi University (Kenya)
MBA in Strategic Planning from Heriot-Watt University
