Professional History


Tshepo is the Chief Executive Officer of Fundi, which he joined in January 2019. Tshepo has over 15 years of strategy design and execution, operations, finance, client services, and business development experience. In his role as the CEO of Fundi, Tshepo's goal is to create an innovative environment and to lead the company to become a single source for all things education and learning.

He started off at Stanlib where he spent over a decade in various roles; starting in the back-office and working towards a leading client-facing role. He also led the strategy execution division for Stanlib Retail for three years. Here he successfully implemented various strategic projects in distribution, IT, product development, operations, e-commerce, continuous improvement, client services, and internal team development. Prior to joining Fundi, he was at Discovery Invest where he was the Head of External Platform Distribution for Discovery Invest, a new sales channel which he conceptualized to grow assets under management.

He won the top student award for leadership through storytelling elective and achieved distinctions for Marketing, Micro-economics, statistics, and management accounting. He was voted by his classmates as the MBA candidate most likely to succeed in business.
