Professional History


Nozukiso is an independent non-executive Director of the African Bank Holdings Limited company. She is also the CEO of Siyotula Holdings, an investment holding company that invests in various sectors. She serves as a non-executive director on various listed and unlisted boards, including the Bidvest Group, Denel SOC, Post Office SOC, Toyota Financial Services, Wescoal Mining, Taste Holdings, Stangen Insurance, and Ogilvy Mathers. She’s also a trustee at the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital and the Take Over Regulation Panel. She is also a sought-after international keynote speaker and advisor.

She was previously the CEO of Thebe Capital, where she was responsible for looking after a large portfolio of strategic investments across various sectors and served as a non-executive director on the boards of Combined Motor Holdings, Shell SA, Altech Netstar, Vodacom SA, SAfripol, STISA, and Sekelo Oil Trading. Zukie previously held various senior positions at Barclays Africa, Old Mutual, Royal Bafokeng Holdings, and South African Breweries. In 2022, she was appointed as Chairperson of the Board by York Timber Holdings Limited. York Timber Holdings is a Johannesburg Stock Exchange listed company that is the largest solid wood processor producing lumber and plywood in South Africa with a wholesale distribution network as well.

She holds a CA (SA), an ACMA, an MBA, and executive programmes from Harvard, Insead, and Oxford. Her diverse experience of 15 years includes M&A, portfolio management, finance, corporate governance, strategy, transformation, including ESG, business turnaround, and restructuring, and managing a P&L business.

In March 2016, she joined the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders under the age of 40. She was previously named one of the 2011 Mail & Guardian Top 200 Young South Africans. Zukie is a Desmond Tutu and an International Women’s Forum Fellow.
