Murimi is engaged in several projects at both Centum and Two Rivers.

Professional History


Murimi works with Centum Investment Company, East Africa’s largest quoted Investment Company, and serves as the Director of Centum Capital. In this role, he oversees execution of Centum’s 3.0 strategy that focuses on the development of investment grade opportunities the eight sectors of focus in: Financial Services, FMCG, Power, Real Estate, Agribusiness, Healthcare, Education and ICT. He previously served as Centum’s Group Corporate Affairs Director & Company Secretary until June 2015. Fred Murimi has over 10 years’ experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining Centum in January 2013, he worked in the investment banking industry with Dyer & Blair Investment Bank and later with Renaissance Capital as Vice President – Legal & Compliance. He has also worked with the Capital Markets Authority, Kenya.

Qualifications


Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) from University of Nairobi; Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from USIU–Africa; Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Certified Public Secretary (CPS); Advocate of the High Court of Kenya; Member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK); and, the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK)
