Occupation: Infrastructure Fund Manager

Occupational Position: Bowale currently works in the Investments Division at the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), a multilateral development finance institution. As part of her responsibilities, she is responsible for managing a multi-sectoral investment portfolio of infrastructure projects across Africa, and managing a Project Development Facility that makes early stage investments in infrastructure projects, in order to enhance the pipeline of bankable transactions.

Professional History

Bowale has also worked at GE Capital, where she managed a portfolio of power and renewable energy investments; and Accenture, where she worked as a Management Consultant, leading several strategy, technology, and human performance projects.


MBA in Finance and International Business from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern  University; Bachelor of Science in Business in Management Information Systems, University of Minnesota; Bowale is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a Board Member for Africa 2.0 Nigeria, a pan-African civil society organization.
