Professional History

Goriola Erogbogbo is an economist, public servant and social entrepreneur with more than a decade of work experience who provides strategic management, economic policy and administrative support for the Executive Governor of Lagos.

Previously, Erogbogbo co-led the monitoring and evaluation of major projects at the Lagos State Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget department, including investments in building the $1.8 Billion dollar Lagos Light Rail Mass Transit system, contributing to the vision of transforming Lagos-to-Africa Model Megacity.

Within his community, Goriola's foundation - the Layi Erogbogbo Foundation - provides support, funding and visibility to thyroid diseases, with an intent to reduce mortality and incidence of such disease in Sub-Saharan Africa. He represents a new breed of young African leaders committed to re-inventing servant Leadership to engender Africa’s Transformation.
