Job Title: Representative for Boffa in the National Assembly
Professional History
Zeinab ran for office and was elected to the National Assembly, representing Boffa prefecture. Prior to running for office, she was the chief of staff of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. She moved to a government role after being the Principal Advisor in charge of Government Relations following the signing of the Settlement Agreement between Rio Tinto and the Government of Guinea, where she dealt with Ministers and senior Government officials at a strategic and operational level.
Previously, Zeinab was the Technical Advisor to the Chief of Cabinet of the President of Guinea, where she established the National Agency for Civil Services to fight youth unemployment. Besides her hard work and passion for the Simandou Project, Zeinab is an emerging African leader, involved in transformational initiatives both in Guinea and Africa. She is the founder of Women in Mining Guinea and a Board member of both Africa 2.0 Governing Council and Guinea Mining Club.
Qualifications
Masters degree in Strategic Public Management from Leicester University
BA in International Relations from De Montfort University in the UK
