Professional History


Before joining Rio Tinto Coal Mozambique, Alima was the Executive Director of the Confederation of Business Association in Mozambique (CTA), an organization that leads the process of dialogue with Government, in representing the private sector, with the objective of improving the business environment in Mozambique. Alima is a non-executive member of the board of the Mining Development Fund, which aims to assist small and medium mining companies and associations around Mozambique. She is also a co-founder of Microfinance Bank which funds business women

Qualifications


Management and Business Administration degree from Africa University.
