Professional History


Dr. Chikanda is remaining true to his commitment towards access to health for all. He is the founder and Managing Director at Pulse Health responsible for the overall executive management, business development, financial management, and employee management & development. He is also the lead consultant doing the actual project work, running the different projects at client sites/offices. Dr. Chikanda has served in various capacities in both public and NGO sector organizations and has a natural affinity for cultivating relationships and persuading, convening, facilitating, and building consensus among diverse stakeholders. Dr. Chikanda holds a Medical Degree from the University of Zimbabwe, Post-Graduate Internal Medicine with the Colleges of Medicine South Africa, and an MBA from the University of Cape Town. He is the Board Chairman of Kheth’impilo, Zimbabwe.

Diploma in HIV Management
Higher Diploma in Internal Medicine from the Colleges of Medicine in South Africa.
