Professional History

Siza is responsible for the Communications and Corporate Affairs department, which accounts for Group Marketing, Stakeholder relations and Corporate Social Investment functions in the Group. She set up the newly formed corporate affairs department, looking after the managing of stakeholder relationships in government, industry and NGO sectors. As part of her role, she designed a reporting repository in order to track the strategic impact of our engagement activities.

Her previous industry exposure was in Mining and Metals (Exploration), Education, and Investments. Her experience includes a broad range of leadership, management, commercial, financial, technical, strategy formulation, stakeholder management, communication, facilitation and project management skills. She has worked on projects in various parts of Africa including: South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana, Mali, Guinea, Madagascar, Zimbabwe, Namibia, and Ghana. This broad work and geographic experience taught her how to adapt and work with people from different cultures, diverse languages and in remote locations.

Her technical experience from the mining sector coupled with the stakeholder management and corporate social investment/responsibility skill positioned her well to work with teams that require leadership, analytical, problem solving, health and safety, project management, change management and strategy formulation and implementation. Siza's skills sets include corporate communications, government relations, stakeholder relations, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, public relations, corporate social investment, budgets, community development, facilitation and scenario planning. I am equally passionate about life and people!
