Professional History


Thulane Ngele PhD is currently employed at Eskom Holdings SOC as General Manager- People Relations. Prior to that, he was Head of Employment Relations and Employment Equity & People Governance and Assurance at Absa Group Limited. On a part-time basis, he pursues his love for education through supervising and marking MBA dissertations at Milpark Business School.

He was a Corporate Industrial Specialist at Eskom Holdings Limited and has gain experience in the field of labor relations from 1995 to date. His experience includes litigation at the CCMA, consulting, and strategic policy formulation in Employment Relations. Thulane commenced his career with the worker's rights council (1995 to 1996), CTL consultancy (1996 to 1999), Nedcor Bank (1999 to 2002), and currently Eskom Holdings from 2002 to present. Thulane currently holds an alternate executive committee membership with IRASA, together with an ordinary membership with the IPM and BMF.

Thulane lived through a doctrine of “Mens Sana in Corpore Sana” meaning a healthy mind in a healthy body. Adventure, tenacity, and “mid-life happiness” led him to pursue the hobbies of marathon running and motorbiking. He owns and rides a massive beast, Suzuki M1800R. Lately, he is warming up to photography.

On a part-time basis, he pursues his love for education through supervising and marking MBA dissertations at Milpark Business School.
