Two Tutu Fellows are included on the 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining 2016 list.  They are Zeinab Camara and Siza Majola.

Prior to joining Rio Tinto, Camara was technical advisor to the Minister Chief of Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Guinea. She founded WIM Guinea, the first and only platform for women in the extractive industry in Guinea, and she mentors young women working in mining companies. She also offers guidance to women starting businesses to service the mining sector in Guinea.  Camara led Rio Tinto’s in-country Ebola response, mobilising $3.4 million for the fight against the disease. She recently signed a partnership agreement between Rio Tinto and a strategic partner to create the first Women in Mining Index in Africa.

Majola is a geologist working in corporate communications with the Royal Bafokeng Holdings investment company. In her current role, Majola manages all communications and set up a corporate affairs department in order to manage stakeholder relationships with government, industry and
NGO sectors. She has been a passionate supporter of helping women and young people advance their careers. A natural mentor, she helps people understand challenges, adjust their approach and reach their goals.
