Nyaradzo Machingambi is an International lawyer by specialisation based at LHR, a leading human rights organisation and implementing partner of the UNHCR where she works on the Refugees and Migrants Rights Project. She was formerly the project coordinator of the Refugee Rights Project at the UCT Law Clinic. She was awarded a scholarship to participate in an International Summer Course on Refugee Issues at the Refugee Studies Centre at York University, Toronto in 2004. She was an expert participant at the Global Commission
LLM in International Law (International Human Rights and Refugee law) at the University of Cape Town Currently pursuing a bridging course at the Witswatersrand University Forced Migration Studies Program in preparation for her PHD in Forced Migration.
